Export Alabama Alliance (EAA) is a statewide “working” council of international trade agencies with the fundamental objective to help Alabama companies grow their business internationally. The Alliance assists in the guidance and facilitation of the State of Alabama’s export promotion and assistance programs and consists of one representative from each of the program partners. Alliance members include state, federal and local organizations.
Alabama Department of Commerce-Office of International TradeThe State of Alabama’s international trade office assists Alabama businesses with export promotion and development through state-wide professional trade development programs, trade missions, trade publications, and distribution of qualified point-to-point international business leads.
Alabama International Trade Center (AITC) provides export research, technical trade consulting services, training programs, and trade financing solutions to Alabama’s small business community.  Its dedicated staff includes professionals that specialize in international sales & marketing, logistics, business strategy, and finance. As part of the University of Alabama community, AITC is a component of a network of university programs and services that support business growth and development in our area.
AlabamaGermany Partnership (AGP) has established a mission to develop and support relationships and friendships between organizations and individuals with ties to Alabama and Germany and to increase and improve business opportunities and foster cultural exchange. Each year, AGP recognizes German companies that have invested in Alabama through new and expanding projects.
Japan-America Society of Alabama (JASA) is a private, not-for-profit association working toward encouraging and developing friendship and understanding between individuals within the communities of Japan and the United States. Throughout the year, JASA offers networking with businesses and organizations doing business with Japan.
The University of Alabama’s Capstone International Center

English Language Institute (ELI), located on the University of Alabama campus, offers a program in English as a second language. Local industries have utilized the program to help company expatriates and their family members learn or enhance their English-speaking skills. The six levels provide intensive English language instruction in speaking and listening, grammar, reading, vocabulary development, and writing.

Capstone International Academic Programs (CIAP) provides support to the UA community through indentifying, Developing, and administering overseas opportunities. CIAP offers academically challenging programs for students which promote both academic and personal growth. CIAP is responsible for all UA’s global learning experiences.

Capstone International Services (CIS) provides essential services and innovative programs for international Students and scholars, enabling them to achieve their educational, professional, and personal goals. CIS fosters diversity and strengthens intercultural relationships throughout the campus and community by promoting understanding and respect for all cultures.
